The Diamond box is inspired by old world seafarers and the stars that guided them on their journey.  The box has a unique corner mounted lid hinge which is handcrafted from solid sterling silver.  The hinge itself mounts to the corner of the box with a pair of small silver cotter pins that lock the metal fitting to the wall from within.  The lid of the box is carved from Camphor Laurel with a Balinese Macassar Ebony insert, and the body of the box is crafted from West Australian Marri.
