Our award winning Niche boxes are produced in three shapes: Niche Fourtet, Niche Trio and Niche Diamond. Niches are crafted from exotic West Australian timber species using state-of-the-art computer controlled processes combined with time-honoured hand techniques.

With changing editions of original lid art and varying combinations of woods, no two Niche boxes are ever the same. A stunning variety of exotic Western Australian timber species are used for the lids of the boxes, and salvaged Jarrah to carve the bases.

As a mark of authenticity each Niche is inset with a sterling silver badge struck with the image of a Scarab beetle. Niches come gift packed with full product information.
Constructing the Niche Box
An intricately crafted giftbox, the construction process of a Niche demands precision and attention to detail.
Every process from design, timber prep and CNC routing to hours spent insetting thousands of silver ball-bearings is completed in the Scarab Workshop.
Evolving over many generations of Niche, we continue to find pathways to refinement, culminating in an ever-more realised vision for what a beautiful artwork timber can be.
